Minami is invited to take a seat right in front of the cameras, while the overseer smiles at them brightly and waves.
And asks them questions, of course.
They don't have to answer truthfully, but they should be aware that every single last thing they're saying might very well end up in the final cut.

[ truthfully, minami still isn't sure about how he feels about this. someone helping him, someone saving him runs in contrast to everything he's ever been. on the other hand he's never been wanted like this.
he looks at tsukasa's face, still flushed with a small smile and realizes what he just asked is pointless. ]
I already told you what I want from this: you. You're not allowed to forget that, even after this show is done. You can't save me if that means I can't hold your hand after or kiss you or laugh at the way you jump when you're scared.
It's not worth it if I'll be around and you won't be.

[Without even a breath of hesitation, with all of the bravado and confidence in the world--]
I fully intend on handling this show, saving you, and returning perfectly fine! It will simply be all in a day's work for the future world star that I am!

[ because that's all good to hear, but minami is minami just as tsukasa is tsukasa. maybe that's part of why they're here.
he pulls tsukasa down into a kiss, capturing that star and brightness for himself. a kiss with a deeper meaning in many ways, new emotions and feelings playing across his tongue. ]

--But Tsukasa's entirely glad to melt into that kiss, eyes fluttering shut as he lets himself just... enjoy the moment.
He knows he's going to have a lot to think about and figure out when this whole moment is over; he's signed himself up for some truly wild things. But--Tsukasa was being sincere when he told Minami not to worry. He has no intentions of self-sacrifice or not coming back. Sure, it may be dangerous, but... well, he's always found a way before. Why should this be any different?
There's something more to this kiss than before, something Minami, as ever, isn't putting into words. But Tsukasa thinks he understands enough of it, at least.
And he hopes, similarly, that his own confidence and willingness is coming through in the way he responds and leans into the kiss--because after all, this is what he wants.]

when he pulls back it's because he realizes he's didn't get an answer to a super important question. (he leaves his arms looped around tsukasa's torso even with their lips parted, since more touching and intimacy is in their future-) ]

But that does bring him back down to earth a little, brow furrowing as he thinks.
Hmmm.
He truly would like to take Minami on another date--and Ritsuka and Anna and Will and so many of the other contestants, simply because it's been fun to get to know them outside of the pressure cooker that is the house they're all stuck in. But it's getting harder to justify, and not just because of Akechi's words.
He has to focus, right? Now he has even more reason to do things right.]
I'm not sure yet. [Sincerely, and a little apologetically. He knows Minami is the sort of person who just does what he wants, and to an extent, Tsukasa does admire that. But he's always been responsible, and he can't turn that off now.] But I'll figure it out and let you know.
Or perhaps I'll be the one to take you out to dinner instead. [Ha! A surprise attack! Which is not a surprise anymore since he said it out loud to Minami's face.]

It's not in his nature to make people wait, after all--he just has to balance everything in front of him. But is that just part of the job of a star as well?]

you'd think that would make him happy and in some way it does, but it also hits the part of him that doesn't know what to do with these feelings. it makes him want to strangle himself and it makes his heart warm.
he buries himself in tsukasa's shoulder instead of trying to sink into the couch this time. progress? ]

But despite his loudness, he is pretty gentle as he carefully maneuvers around the headpieces to bury his fingers into Minami's hair.

Tsukasa just tilts his head at that, eyebrows arching, before he obediently starts to take them off.]
So they're intended to be stand ins for horns?

...do you know the first time Seiya met me, he said I wasn't even worth exorcising? That incubi are such minor demons and no one actually gets bothered for more than five minutes by nightmares that it's a waste of his time? It's so rare for incubi to be able to manifest in the waking world that he didn't even consider that I actually would.
[ grrr. minami's not even sure if seiya remembers their first encounter (he certainly remembers their second), but that doesn't matter. because minami has never gotten over and will never get over just being entirely discounted like that.
he's been nuzzling more into the touch as he talks because it's either that or something of the more violent nature and despite everything else that he's yet to figure out, he knows he doesn't want to hurt tsukasa ever. ]

[If Minami keeps nuzzling into that touch, Tsukasa isn't about to pull away. It's nice, anyway--a gentle sort of intimacy.]
I'll be looking forward to seeing them. That'll absolutely surprise people! [Then it won't matter if he was considered a waste of time before--he won't be any longer, right? He'll have stepped past that and grown further.]

It's one of your dreams, right? Then I want to see you achieve it.
[Because really, he can't help but think there's nothing more stunning than people striving to reach those dreams they're chasing. Minami is absolutely no different, demon or not.]

out of all the things they've said to each other today, this is the one that gets to him the most and that makes him feel happy with all of the weight he's still learning to hold involved. ahh, maybe he can have everything he wants without hating himself after all. ]

Oh, that surprises him, and Tsukasa makes a startled noise into that flurry of kisses. Really, something that simple surprised Minami that much?
... He's not so different in many ways from the people Tsukasa's come to know back home, too. Where all they needed was a little push to pursue their dreams, and they became truly dazzling. It's just that they'd never received that push before.
It takes him a moment to catch his breath, and when he does, it's just to laugh.]
Ha ha ha! That pleased by having someone like me observe your growth, are you?
[oh my god Tsukasa just shut up.]

it's hard to kiss into laughter but minami does so anyway, eventually riding the exuberance down to the words of reassurance. ]
You better not. [ the last kiss is rougher, deeper, because tsukasa is truly stuck with minami now but. that's apparently what he wants so help them both. ]

And for as much as the fiercer kiss startles Tsukasa for a moment, it's only brief, because he's always been one to rise to a challenge--as Minami well knows by this point.
So he kisses back, and if not fierce, then at least just as deeply and warmly.
... It's dangerous, though, isn't it? He knows full well that this is supposed to be the start of him being more hostly, not less. So ultimately, he pulls back and picks up Minami's headpiece, gently placing it back on his head.]
Alright then! That's enough moping from me, and enough ignoring everyone else for you.
[It'd be nice to stay here and cozy up, but, well--that's why Tsukasa said he'd enjoy more visits from Minami in the future, right?]
