That's quite the confession... he really wasn't expecting ever hearing anything like that out of Minami, and yet here it is, right on the heels of him saying he doesn't want to eat his soul.

and minami loves it. that finally gets him to smile and laugh, even if it's not as loud as his usual ones. he's also blushing, which is usually pretty subtle, but definitely not up close. even if he's still half in the blanket. ]

I still think you're crazy, you know. [ affectionate. who else but someone crazy could like a demon, and a demon like him on top of all of that. ]

And just cuz I'm not gonna eat you doesn't mean I'm gonna let anyone else have you.

[ that was probably a little obvious by the end of spin the bottle, but he's stating it now while he's being cornered into spilling things he can't contain anymore. ]

[ here is where most other characters would have empathy and perhaps realize that they were the one who technically started this (because minami dragged him over in the first place). but minami is minami so the most he can manage is: ]

But I don't wanna talk 'bout that anymore. [ he emerges from the blankets fully (finally!) and pulls tsukasa into a deep kiss.

listen he's said a lot and most of it is stuff he's allergic to and they both deserve this he thinks. ]

... Well, it's fine. This is the job Tsukasa took on, and like always, he'll do it to the highest standards possible, which he always holds himself to.

It doesn't matter anyway--he isn't given the time to respond, and after all of that, he's not going to avoid leaning into that kiss, obviously. Really, he pretty obviously relaxes into it, shoulders slumping as he does.

So this is what an embarrassed demon is like...]

[ it's different for him now too even if it's more subtle, the way his eyes seem to sparkle when they finally part and how he seems to fit better when he settles in against tsukasa once again. there's still a lot he needs to think about, but he feels lighter in the moment than heavier. as a creature of impulse its always the moments he lives in, and this is a good one. ]

[Yeah he's just pulling out his phone and setting a quick alarm, before he sets it on the small table next to the couch which is there solely for aesthetic or something probably.

[Tsukasa does take a moment to consider the thought of Minami just suddenly appearing in his room in the middle of the night.

[ pfft. he lets out half a laugh, looking up with an amused grin. (he'd rather not deal with it but he's getting fed enough right now so he can forget about it, at least for the moment.) ]

I can't dream myself and I normally can't leave Hell so dreams are the only way I can usually see different things. But I don't want to visit you in your dreams right now, I just want to sleep with you.

anyway. that's weird. no one says rest well to him either? he doesn't like to sleep alone but it's how he spends most of his nights. and his heart still feels weird. well, it's fine. for now at least, anyway.

also if you think he's going to sleep without taking a good night (good nap) kiss, i don't know what to tell you. somehow he puts everything he's felt tonight into that kiss which is a lot, in a good way. he murmurs the sweet dreams this time into it too, more tongue than lips.

and then he'll shut up at least, getting himself comfortable right against tsukasa's heart. ]

But before he can say that, lips parted to speak, Minami is very swiftly silencing him with that kiss. Hmmm--Tsukasa's still learning how to parse out all of those feelings that Minami hides behind those kisses, but he's starting to get the hang of it, he thinks. Besides... it's been a fun thing to learn, too.

With the way he settles himself, Minami wouldn't even need to be a demon to be able to hear the rapid thrum of Tsukasa's heart following that kiss... but he settles slowly but surely, breathing and heartbeat easing as he slips into a comfortable doze.]
