( r6 ) talking-head: minami.

Minami is invited to take a seat right in front of the cameras, while the overseer smiles at them brightly and waves.
And asks them questions, of course.
They don't have to answer truthfully, but they should be aware that every single last thing they're saying might very well end up in the final cut.
Have fun!
week one
after match ceremony + meeting
no he did not. like yeah, he really doesn't care if the cameras film him it's not like he's shy but.hmmm.
he has no idea how to describe the little nagging feeling on his skin. so he's not thinking about it!
like before, minami starts by getting all up in tsukasa's face though he doesn't take his hands this time. he's looking deep into his eyes, his own bright red. ]
Tsukasa-chan, have you been getting enough sleep? [ he Knows the answer to this already, but maybe it says something that he asks first. ]
no subject
... ... ... Okay, no, Tenma, don't think about that right now!!
He's not seated when Minami enters the room, and only jumps a little when he turns to see Minami there, bright red eyes fixed on his own.
Ah...
Is this what Minami wanted a meeting to talk about...?]
... Well-- [He's been tired, for sure, because there's so much to process all the time with this job, but...!!]
--I've had a lot on my mind, I guess... ah, but no need to worry! I won't let it interfere with my ability to perform my role on this show.
no subject
reaches out to poke his cheek. his voice is lower again, though it's clear that this malice isn't direct at tsukasa. ]
Do you want me to kill him? I wanted to, but then I thought that'd be too messy right there for you.
1/2
He barely even processes the poke, not between that shift in Minami's tone, and, of course, what he says.]
2/2
N-no! No killing!
[How is this... the life he's living........]
Please!
no subject
[ despite his everything, it's pretty clear he does not like that. he can't even fully enjoy hearing tsukasa's voice sounding like that again... ;; ]
no subject
Thank goodness...... this is all so far beyond what he's used to handling, but he's not drowning yet, so long as Minami is willing to listen.]
Well... [Akechi, huh... it was pretty anxiety inducing at the time, but more because Tsukasa was worried about making sure the show would go on.]
... He had good reason to be frustrated with the way the ceremony was going. And there isn't anyone else to talk to about it but me. The timing could have been better, but it is my responsibility to see to the problems he's dealing with.
no subject
[ that's not murder!
and as hilarious as this is, this is him trying. ]
1/2
Thanks!!!]
2/2
... is this Minami being... concerned? Tsukasa drags a careful breath in and runs his fingers through his hair.
Calm down, Tsukasa, calm down. Demon he may be, but Minami did just make a huge confession in front of the whole group. He doubts they were too happy with that.]
I'll be fine. I'm pretty sure he can't hurt me while we're on this show. [Judging from Wednesday throwing her axe at him previously.......]
But--I heard the, er. Chatter. [Nice way to put it...??] Are you okay?
no subject
anyway, he doesn't say that because he's distracted by the question (yay). it makes him laugh actually, because it doesn't clock as serious concern for him. ]
I'm pretty sure most of 'em hate me now, but that's what I was expecting, hehe. And it's better this way, cuz now they know who I really am. Don't tell me you forgot that I said I'd play!
no subject
Blessedly oblivious to his thoughts, Tsukasa just focuses on that, head tilted to one side with a faint furrow to his brow.]
I haven't forgotten, of course, but... [???] ... I suppose it is important that they know the real you if you're going to find your Perfect Match.
[So he does get it but... why so abrasively, Minami...]
That's the idea, right?
no subject
If it is Will that'd be funny but....I'm bored of him now.
[ somewhere in the house will feels his shoulders loosen. ]

He is, of course, seated in the interviewer's chair, but he brightens immediately as soon as Minami is shown his way in.]
Ah, Minami! Very good!
I owe you a show. Would now be an acceptable time? [Pre-interview, I guess, help.]
no subject
minami hops into the chair, still riding the high off of no longer needing to act like a soggy napkin.
and maybe last night. ]Oooh, I get to see it now? I'm ready, I'm ready! ★
[ interview what interview. ]
no subject
He is even dressed for the part. He can't really act out every single role--there's only one of him, which means it has to be more of a dramatic story telling and re-enactment, but he has to look nice either way. It's a show!]
Very well then. In that case, let the show begin!
[So. Tsukasa is, actually, a very good script writer (well. Only if there's a happy ending, anyway). But in this case, it's a story he's clearly taken great pains to craft. He started with the base of a sleeping beauty story--but it changes very quickly to instead be about a sleeping prince and the demon who protects his dreams. It's ironic because Tsukasa has no idea that that's what Minami did, it's just that he promised Minami a sleeping beauty story and here we are.....
It's not a long story, and there aren't many twists; Tsukasa can only act out so much of a story himself for so long. But it's full of energy, and despite his everything else, Tsukasa is an excellent actor.
The story ends with the prince waking up--with the demon wondering if he should go, uncertain how the prince will react to his existence, and there's no explicit closure.
(But Tsukasa prefers happy endings, so it's probably not difficult to figure out how it would end.)
And with that wrapped up, he drags in a deep breath, and turns to see how Minami has received it, still buzzing with the energy he always feels when he gets to perform in front of others (and hopefully see them smile).]
no subject
and for the majority of the play, minami is just enthralled with watching the story unfold. he's not thinking too hard or at all really, because he never gets to see something like this. maybe a snippet of a performance here or there, but definitely not a full one and definitely not one of this calibur. plus there's nothing sickly sweet to pull him out of his immersion either.
tsukasa has a captive audience, something he'll easy be able to pick up on as he performs. it's only at the end that minami's braincells actually bother to piece together any kind of meaning. he couldn't miss the demon thing obviously, but he was too taken by the energy of the performance to really let it spur thoughts. ]
...that was just for me, right? Is this your way of guessing what kind of demon I am?
[ his expression is open, searching, because honestly he's like two now loading bars back. ]
no subject
That said, Minami's brain cells piece together the implications much faster than Tsukasa's do; he blinks, tilting his head to one side as he moves back to his interviewer's seat and flops into it with a sigh.
.......... wait.
WAIT!!]
... Ah!! Aaaaah!
Is that the sort of demon you are?!
[He just... wanted to do a sleeping beauty play and then added demons........... because it was for Minami...]
no subject
I'm an incubus. Do you get it now?
[ he'd call bullshit on literally anyone else, but minami also trusts tsukasa. ]
no subject
As such, his understanding of what an incubus is is... fuzzy. Something to do with dreams... feeding off of humans in some way... ... ...]
Then... do you eat dreams? [he is TRYING]
no subject
Not quite ☆. [ what a pity, he can't just give him the answer now (he wouldn't have anyway). ]
Wanna try again? If you get it wrong I get a prize. If you get it right, you get a prize!
no subject
Ah... do incubus make nightmares instead? It has something to do with sleep, right?
no subject
[ how does he count this because it's not wrong but not what he was looking for (what he eats) either.
he decides impulsively to split it down the middle, squishing tsukasa's cheeks to make himself feel better. ]
'Kay, what do you want as your prize?
